Happy Saturday readers!
For most of us, this is a day where we like to enjoy ourselves, especially with a bottle of wine, prosecco or whatever rows your boat.
Personally, I like to have a glass of wine or prosecco, and I most of the time I try to make healthy food choices with that glass of happiness. Alcohol will always be our “biggest sin” when it comes to health, although some alcohol such as red wine and beer do have some nutritional benefits, but in very small quantities and most of us don’t just drink a glass of red a week.
But what we can do, is to be a little more conscious about our food choices while drinking that glass of wine. Don’t get me wrong, am all for having a big steak and dauphinoise potatoes from time to time, but maybe not every week.
Here’s a super yummy salad that is so easy to make (if you are having a night in) and I’m sure everyone would like, and the best – it goes perfectly with that glass of prosecco!
All you gotta do is to get these ingredients:
- Quinoa (I used ready microwave package)
- Crayfish or any seafood you like!
- Italian dressing (or make your own)
Add all ingredients to a bowl and ta da – a super healthy light salad that your body will thank you for the following day!
Note – you can, of course, use any vegetables you like!
